About the Company

JC Carter is a producer of cryogenic submerged motor pumps, which have many applications in the growing natural gas market. The products are primarily used in liquid natural gas regasification and liquefaction plants, and natural gas liquid processing. These are standard hydraulic designs for a full range of In-tank and Suction-vessel mounted pumps from to cubic meters per hour. All are based on five standard hydraulic models. The performance of those models is proven on test in LNG. The mechanical design and construction of Carter In-tank Pumps and Suction-vessel Mounted Product pumps is the same, as are the Inducers, Impellers, and Diffusers.

Each of these hydraulic models features peak efficiencies in excess of 86%. High efficiency is maintained over a wide range of flow conditions. The power consumption is non-overloading, that is, the the power required actually reduces beyond % of BEP. Head rise to shut off is generally limited to 20% which is sufficient for stable parallel operation.

In , we acquired JC Carter and can therefore provide high quality service for all JC Carter pumps as well as our own cryogenic pumps.

My Journey Through the Best Presidential Biographies

My introduction to Calvin Coolidge on this journey included seven biographies providing nearly 3, pages &#; and almost two months &#; of entertainment (well&#;scholarship).

Like many former presidents whose memories are dulled by lazy parodies or unreflective caricatures, Coolidge proved to be more interesting than I initially suspected. Yet he remains far more mysterious than I (or presumably his biographers) would have hoped.

Probably by self-design, Calvin Coolidge is a very difficult person to get to know. It is often recalled that George Washington possessed a demeanor so reserved that his personality was impenetrable to anyone outside his family. Coolidge, on the other hand, possessed a mien so restrained and remote that even the NSA could hardly have deciphered his true inner self.

Based on what I do know of Coolidge, I don&#;t think he would be the least bit disappointed to know he didn&#;t quite make my list of the Top 40 former presidents I would love to have over for dinner and drinks. It is fascinating, however, that the woman he married (Grace Goodhue) was well-known for being everything he was not: out

It already had more than doubled to billion by the time he became president.

That boom has not reached Plains, where Carter has lived more than 80 of his years. His wife Rosalynn, who died in at age 96, also was born in Plains.

Their town comprised fewer than people in the s and has about today; much of the local economy revolves around its most famous residents.
