Bledlow Manor House Gardens
Bledlow Manor House has been owned by the Carington family since the 18th century. The garden came into existence in as the brainchild of the 6th Lord and Lady Carrington who commissioned the landscape architect, Robert Adams to create the garden.
After the 7th Lord Carrington inherited the garden, he commissioned the plantsman and designer Sean Walter in to lead on an extensive replanting and rejuvenation project throughout the gardens. The latest exciting addition to the garden is a brand new tea room (and family museum) which will open this year.
The present garden covers about 12 acres, and utilises a mixture of different terrain and styles, ranging from a Japanese style water garden on converted old cress beds, a walled kitchen garden, to a sculpture garden with number of contemporary sculptures by, amongst others, Peter Randall Page, Michael Cooper, Alistair Lambert, Barry Mason and Paul Vanstone.
We welcome group visits and can tailor tours from general to specialist groups and have facilities to cater for parties up to Contact enquiries@ for information and availability. We are also open some weekends as part of the National Garden Scheme
