Harikatha Prasanga (Chronicles of Hari) is a Kannada-language film directed by Ananya Kasaravalli. The film is produced by Basant Kumar Patil and Amrutha B Patil under the banner Basant Productions. The film features Shrunga B V, K G Krishnamurthy, Siri, Ganesh and Champa Shetty in lead roles. The music is composed by Bindhumalini Narayanaswamy and the cinematography is by Balaji Manohar. This is director Ananya Kasaravalli's debut feature film[1].
The film is based on a short story named Beladi Harishchandra by writer Gopalakrishna Pai.[2] Pai also wrote the story and screenplay for the film. The dialogues were written by Kannada writer Vaidehi and senior filmmaker Girish Kasaravalli. The film has bagged many international awards and accolades.
